This year, RMLA Conference sessions will be delivered across two unique venues within the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, each offering access to the full conference programme.
Waitaha Events Centre
Located at the Copthorne Hotel and Resort Bay of Islands, the Waitaha Events Centre will host the live conference presentations and provide a traditional conference environment.
The Pavilion
Situated on the Waitangi Treaty Grounds adjacent to the hotel, The Pavilion will offer a livestream of all conference sessions in a distinctly Bay of Islands setting. With relaxed lounge-style seating, a more informal atmosphere, and plenty of space to settle in for the day, attendees can enjoy all conference content while experiencing a different style of conference environment.
Registration fees are the same regardless of venue. When registering, you will be asked to select your preferred conference experience. To ensure a seamless experience for all attendees, you will remain in your chosen venue for the duration of the conference.
While attendees will experience the conference from their selected venue, bringing everyone together remains an important part of the Conference experience. Instead of traditional morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea breaks, the programme will feature two extended one-hour networking breaks on both Thursday and Friday. These longer breaks will provide ample opportunity for attendees from both venues to come together, reconnect with colleagues, enjoy refreshments, and continue conversations sparked during the conference sessions.
