Rawiri has over 20 years of Senior Executive and resource management experience. Rawiri has sat on a wide variety of hearings including plan changes, consents, designations and plan reviews (including the MEP for Marlborough District Council). Rawiri is currently Pou Toa Matarau at Te Runanga o Toa Rangatira and works at the coal face of RM planning and the potential impact of reform on iwi and communities alike. Rawiri has first hand experience of how RM decisions impact on the values and aspirations of communities.
