Liz is an independent planning consultant based in Ōtautahi Christchurch, with over 18 years of experience in resource management and planning across both public and private sectors. Her core expertise lies in regional and district plan development, encompassing the full spectrum from issue and option identification to drafting plan provisions, preparing reports, and supporting clients through Environment Court processes.

In addition to policy work, Liz has a broad range of experience that also includes project management, designations and consenting. Liz has worked on local, regional and national planning documents giving her a comprehensive understanding of the wider planning landscape in which policy development and consenting operate.

Liz is an accredited hearings commissioner and full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute.
