Paul’s policy experience includes working across water and climate change policy at Fonterra and DairyNZ, working on international agricultural policy at the Ministry for Primary Industries, in Parliament for both Hon Simon Bridges and Hon Judith Collins during their time as Leader of the Opposition, and in infrastructure planning at Beca. At MPI, Paul was a member of the New Zealand delegation to UN climate change negotiations in Doha, Warsaw, Lima and at Paris, taking the lead on agricultural issues. Paul brings a lifelong knowledge of farming having grown up on a dairy farm near Te Awamutu, Waikato. Today Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, mountain biking, playing hockey and spearfishing.
